ABOUT THE ARTIST: Dave Hamman's photographic mission is to contribute to projects for conservation value - linking information from field scientists to the general public. Now widely published, Hamman, Heldring, McNutt and Boggs began their friendship when they together published 'Running Wild - Dispelling the Myths of the African Wild Dog' in 1996. It remains the definitive book on the ecology and behaviour of African wild dogs and has won numerous awards.
