ABOUT THE ARTIST: Adrian Bailey's photographic work has received many awards, including first place in the Mammal Behavior category of the esteemed Wildlife Photographer of the Year awards in 1996 and runner-up prizes in 1998, 1999 and 2001. His images appear in books, calendars and magazines worldwide (including BBC Wildlife, Natural History, Outside, GEO (France & Germany) and National Geographic (Netherlands)). Adrian's first book, Okavango: Africa's Wetland Wilderness (Struik), was released to critical acclaim in 1998. He has since collaborated on four books with his wife, writer Robyn Keene-Young, including: Safari, Journeys through Wild Africa (Struik 2006); Okavango, A Journey (Struik 2006); Wild Kruger (Sunbird 2001) and Wild Botswana (Sunbird 2000) He is a contributing photographer to Aurora Photos, a photographic agency based in Maine, USA. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, Adrian holds a Bachelors degree in Architecture from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Masters degree from Natal University. He lives in a game reserve near South Africa's Kruger National Park.
