Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we had some wonderful items on offer during our inaugural Silent Auction. From safaris which take you on a journey into the wilderness to art which brings the wilderness into your home, there was something for everyone!

PRE-BIDDING: In addition to bidding on the night of the event, you may place a bid in advance through our pre-bidding process. If you wish to make a bid, please send an email with the amount of your bid (in Pounds Sterling) to Teresa Graham (dogcube@btinternet.com). If you are out-bid, you will receive an email asking if you would like to make another bid. All pre-bids must be submitted no later than Thrusday April 10 at 10:00 am British Summer Time. The person(s) with the highest pre-bid will be contacted to confirm their bid with a credit card. The winning pre-bidder will be contacted soon after the event if no higher bids are received that evening.

SERIES PRINTS (Iva Spitzer and Ronnie Wood): If a bid is received for the set it will override any single-item bids. If only single item bids are received they will be auctioned as normal.

DUTCH AUCTIONS (Horst Klemm and Neil Taylor): These items are being sold through a Dutch auction. This means that the highest top 2 (Horst Klemm) or 4 (Neil Taylor) bidders will win the auction and pay the price of the lowest winning bid.

TRAVEL DISCOUNT FOR ALL BIDDERS! We are pleased to announce that Timeless Africa has generously agreed to offer all bidders a discount of £100 towards a trip booked within 6 months of the event. The value can either be deducted from the cost of your trip, or donated in whole or in part to BPCT.* So even if you do not win the auction, you'll still be a winner!

*To receive the discount, the entire itinerary must be booked through Timeless Africa. Bookings must be confirmed within six months from the date of the event (by October 10, 2008). Please quote reference BPCT when making your booking.
